Sherry Groom
Entrepreneur
Sherry Groom is the current world record holder for the largest collection of troll dolls as certified by Guinness World Records. Sherry took possession of the world record in 2014 and the publicity from media sources as interviews on NBC News Cleveland and BBC of London spread the word of the unique, quirky and fun museum Sherry created to house her personal troll collection. Many donations of trolls from around the country have arrived at the museum. The Troll Museum now houses over 20,000 pieces of troll memorabilia including 2 buses. Sherry created the celebrity personality Sigrid the Troll Queen to promote the Troll Museum.
She has invested in revitalizing downtown Alliance for the last 10 years. Creating a unique tourist destination and remodeling building after building into themed based businesses.
David McDowell
Resident Artist
David McDowell is the resident artist for The Troll Museum creating exhibits since 2015. David studied in Ohio and abroad and his base studio is in the Hub Art Factory in Canton, Ohio. David is an expert in many mediums especially in illustrations, costume creations, pottery, and stained glass. David is featured in documentary "Selling Out".
David is in charge of the creative design and painting of the mural for Camelot project.
